Broken? Don’t bin it – let’s see if we can fix it!

The Leominster Repair Café brings together volunteer repairers and local people to give broken and damaged items another chance.

From electrical items and clocks to clothing, furniture, bikes and garden tools, bring it along and let’s see what we can do.

Bringing tools for sharpening? No booking needed – just turn up.

However, if you are bringing more complex items such as hedge trimmers, scythes or large axes to sharpen, it will be necessary to book online to ensure we have the correct tools with us.

Please also follow the guidance below when transporting your sharp items:

• Keep them in a toolbox, tool bag or other secure container.
• Avoid carrying knives or sharp tools loose in pockets or readily accessible on your person.
• If driving, keep them in the boot where possible.
• Be able to explain that you are attending a specific Repair Café event.

Particular care is needed with:

• Fixed-blade knives.
• Lock knives (even if the blade is under 3 inches).
• Kitchen knives.

Please ensure you have a lawful reason for transporting any bladed item. Attending a Repair Café does not automatically provide a legal defence for carrying knives in public.

🚲 Bike repairs now available

We can now offer basic bike repairs and advice. Please book your bike in advance so we can make sure we have the right people available.

If you are bringing one in with a puncture, please bring a puncture repair kit. These can be bought locally in Leominster from T.J. Hughes or J. Mart.
